Gina Veazey
Senior Publishing Consultant
Gina Veazey is a veteran magazine editor, excellent writer, and seasoned interviewer. She is also a savvy marketer, with experience in B2B marketing and communications.
She has conducted communication audits and led magazine publishing operations for Association Vision.
She has more than 25 years of experience with a focus in association communications and additional experience with a range of corporate health care clients.
Veazey was previously the editor in chief of AHIP Coverage, the magazine of America’s Health Insurance Plans.
She also served as director of communications for the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), where she provided strategic communications counsel to executive leadership and the board of directors. Her scope of responsibility encompassed a monthly magazine, website, social media, editorial operations of a peer-reviewed journal, and public relations.
Veazey launched NACS Magazine, the member publication of the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), and managed it for several years. NACS Magazine earned the Association Trends Overall Excellence Gold Award in its first year of operation and numerous IABC and APEX awards for editorial excellence.
She also launched publications while serving the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds and the International Association of Convention and Visitor Bureaus (now Destination Marketing Association International).
Her career also includes serving as director of public affairs for the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives and managing editor of Executive Update magazine. Veazey was also assistant editor of Snack World magazine, the publication of the Snack Food Association.
