Design Consultant
Colby Waller is founder of Thor Design Studio, an Association Vision design partner who specializes in association and newsstand magazine design in addition to web, mobile, and motion graphic projects. His studio has won several Excel and Apex awards for its magazine design and Waller has taught publication design for Boston University at its Georgetown campus.
Waller’s design work is defined by clean, powerful images and layouts that allow editorial messages and content to stand out in a way that attracts and retains reader interest. His designs deliver high levels of visual awareness for scale, relationships between elements, typography, color, and illustration.
He is also an expert in infographic development, with advanced skills attuned to organizing complex data sets into compelling story components.
