Carolyn Ward loves cold calling sales prospects, and she is good at it!
She has more than 30 years of experience in association advertising, membership, and exhibit/sponsorship sales. She has led multifaceted programs for several associations and for-profit publishers.
As Advertising Director at the American Coatings Association for 18 years Ward tripled advertising revenue the first year and increased ad revenue year-over-year including during the Great Recession.
She also more than doubled ad sales for the Specialized Carriers & Rigging Association (SCRA) and Robotics Industry Association (RIA). She more than tripled ad sales for InfoSecurity Magazine for Elsevier Publishing Company.
Ward also sold advertising for multiple publications for Douglas Publications, including Medical Products Sales (MPS) and American Painting Contractor (APC), increasing advertising revenue to more than $1.5 million.
Ward earned a BA Degree in Biology and a BA Degree in Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
